She’s a completely in-demand spinstress.
Alanna “That’s So” Raben has been making a name for herself in the New York City scene for years. Inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, Raben draws from a nostalgia to spin parties that are as memorable as your favorite Disney sitcoms. Her skill, creativity and ear for music have quickly gained the attention of film and fashion brands alike, establishing her reputation as a DJ.
Alanna performs annually at major festivals including Coachella, South by Southwest, Sundance and Rock the Bells, and she’s opened for popular recording artists including Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Diplo, Drake, Salt-N-Pepa and Waka Flocka Flame. She’s also spun the runways at New York Fashion Week and other special events for notable clientele including fashion visionary Patricia Field, Entourage star Adrian Grenier, universal heartthrob Ryan Gosling, ultimate cool girl Chloe Sevigny, EDM sensation Stevie Aoki and revolutionary designer Carrie Hammer. Most notably, That’s So Raben is a resident DJ at both New York’s W Hotel and Baby's All Right. But she’s made her mark at 1 Oak, Kinfolk, Le Bain, Up and Down and Lavo, too.
From high-profile fashion and film events to exclusive downtown parties, Alanna is so here to stay in the world of dance music culture.
